In 2018, there is a big change in Vietnam visa for UK citizens. As you know that, the previous policy for 15-day free Vietnam visa for UK citizens became expired on June 31, 2018 and there has been a great change related to it, accordingly the UK citizens continue to get 15-day Vietnam visa exemption until June 31, 2021.
The conditions defining who are eligible for the visa exemption remain unchanged. Accordingly, the UK Citizens who wish to take advantage of 15-day free visa to Vietnam must:
- Have their stay in Vietnam not exceed 15 consecutive days; AND
- Have never been in Vietnam before OR have their arrival date not fall within 30 days following exit date of their last stay in Vietnam with visa exemption.
Otherwise, a Vietnam visa is required.

Vietnam evisa is for those traveling to Vietnam on tourist purpose with a stay of no more than 30 days in single entry. Soft copies of passport and photo are required for application online.
Vietnam Visa on Arrival
Vietnam visa on arrival is for those traveling to Vietnam by AIR on both business and tourist purpose with short- or long-term stay in single/multiple entries. No document is required for application online.
To apply, travelers only need to spend around 2 minutes to complete the online form here, make payment of service fee and then wait for 2 working days to get visa approval letter sent to email, and then get visa stamped upon arrival at Vietnam airport.
